Bachelor of Engineering" graduation trip, specialising in paper technology

On September 27th we were visited by the bachelor`s class TPT18 of DHBW Karlsruhe which just has finished.

The young engineers now wearing the title “bachelor of engineering” specialized in paper technologies chose the Hamburger Containerboard Gelsenkirchen factory for one of their last stops. Since Hamburger Containerboard cares a lot about the next generation, management decided to donate 2,000€ for their end of school trip. On the picture you can see how our manager operations Nadira Husanovic hands over the symbolical check to Ömer Özdemir, working student of Schöllershammer GmbH in Düren, who thankfully received it on behalf of the students. The event, of course given under 3G rules, was opened by Nadira Husanovic, Marcel Laermann, Tobias Tiede and Mark Wester. In the following lively, exchange we figured out that our guests were of various professions. From papermakers over print workers up to packaging technologists every profession was given. After the exchange the group was guided through the production and a lot of proficient questions were asked by the very interested students. Afterwards we had some snacks and a loose chat. We’re looking forward to watch and maybe accompany the career of one or more bachelors.

We are grateful for the huge interest and we wish all the best and a lot of success!

Best regards and as we say in the Ruhr area “Glück auf” ⚒
