Today, at around 15:45 p.m., a fire broke out in the area of stock preparation during welding work on the construction site of paper machine 2 (PM2) on the premises of the Hamburger Containerboard in Spremberg. 5
Due to the rapid intervention of the LEAG factory fire brigade, the fire was quickly extinguished and despite the large smoke, no one was injured. The impact on the overall construction project cannot yet be precisely quantified, but will be manageable due to the rapid response on site.
Construction site PM 2
