Hamburger Containerboard Trostberg's 2022 Christmas donation reached the "Faraja means comfort" support association. The Trostberg association, initiated by Marianne and Reinhard Penn, supports physically handicapped people in East Africa. The donation will be used to build stables and purchase farm animals such as goats and chickens. This enables the impaired young people to pursue meaningful employment after school and thus contribute to the family income. A raffle was held during the company Christmas party. The raffle ticket sales generated € 651, which will go to the "Arbeitskreis Hilfe für Notleidende" (Working Group for Aid to the Needy), which supports needy Trostberg citizens.
