An initial assessment indicates that approximately 5,000 tons of recovered paper were destroyed
in the fire. The damage is still under evaluation.
Thanks to the rapid and coordinated response of over 400 firefighters, emergency personnel, and
the dedicated support of employees and local supporters, the fire was brought under control. The blaze has been successfully contained to a local area within the facility.
Importantly, no severe injuries have been reported. Furthermore, technical installations and equipment at the site remain undamaged. The plant’s operations continue to be secured.
