From morning to evening, we offered everyone interested the opportunity to experience state-of-the-art industry. There were impressive tours of our paper machine and our corrugated cardboard plant, as well as insights into the work of our talented colleagues. But the little ones didn't miss out either and were able to enjoy a giant slide, a ball obstacle course and a children's driving school, among other things.
It was the first time since 2017 that we held such an event - and the interest of the public was enormous! In fact, an incredible 4,600 curious visitors visited us throughout the day. "The conclusion of today is simply great. We hadn't expected the crowds like this and we are delighted with all the positive feedback," says Arno Liendl, Managing Director of Hamburger Containerboard at the Spremberg site. Horst Santner, Managing Director of Dunapack Packaging in Spremberg adds: "I am thrilled about the Open Day, because many employees showed their families their workplace here today with great pride."
